I learned to believe in myself even when it feels really lonely to do so. I'm grateful for building my character and for standing my ground. If you don't, no one else will do it for you. Speak your truth, always. I'm grateful for the reminder that we are only on this earth once *(or are we?)* so living our lives the way we want to live them, doing what makes us happy and surrounding ourselves with like-minded people is what matters the most. Life shouldn't be so serious all the time. I'm grateful for laughter. Laughing during tough times is what kept me sane. Having people around me who knew how to make things sound silly, how to make me laugh and how to take every situation light heartedly is all I ever want to experience. I want to take new challenges in life with laughter and open-mindedness. I'm grateful for wearing my heart on my sleeve *(hope I'm using this expression the right way)*. I feel so much for others, I cry with them, I laugh with them, I understand and experience their anger. When situations are unfair, I want to fight. I HATE injustices. Nothing makes me angrier than that. I have big feelings and that makes me who I am. I'm grateful to be that way, even if sometimes it all gets a little too overwhelming. As I grow, I continue to learn more about myself, about my brain, about my past and I learn to manage my feelings and emotions. Finally, I'm grateful for growth.
