🇺🇸 American Priorities… 💔 (Through my eyes) So many heartaches tonight. Many empty beds this night. No more goodnight kisses or the “one more book” requests, No more late nights grading ”their students tests”, No one could possibly wrap their mind around the grief that so many are feeling, No person or chi ld should be On the level their dealing… Everyone so quick to place the blame, Is our country really this lame? It’s the guns control laws? God? Mental illness? What else can you name? Swallow this pill YES Force it down… It’s a little of everything, Not one thing alone… that’s left this country torn down to the bone, Remove all the wholesome, The peace, then separate them all. Frighten the police, So they can’t protect at all, Can’t you see the harm that Exists in this world? News flash after news flash Of this war and that… leaves an empath infantly curled, You can turn the channel, Order door dash, and just carry on, If you actually took a stand… Would there be crosses on that lawn? What if we lived in a world where People put action into their words. Instead of just sitting behind their screens Like useless turds, I feel beyond words As tears run down my face, Is there really any empathy Left in this place? If I could give you my heart And you could feel all the pain, The tears you could feel About those beautiful people slain, We give other countries tons of money to help them survive, As our chi ldren and country Is eaten alive…. I couldn’t imagine what ran through their minds as they huddled, As their teachers used their bodies as shields And he shot into them cuddled, Their parents never imagined To lose them like this…. Now they struggle to embrace The memory of their very last kiss…. Life for you may carry on, But life for them will never be the same. The ch ild or parent that they lost, Nothing but sadness and sorrow came, Listen America, it won’t end, Until we unite, and take a stand. Our country stands back, Don’t you understand? Addressing the nation with words don’t fix a thing…. There is NO other nation to save us Or DO something! We need real leaders who are going to adjust and bring hope, We need peace, protection, An action plan to successfully cope, We need kindness and above all things LOVE right now! Our children, teachers and future scream figure out HOW! Stop placing the blame. Sharing pointless words today… We need answers and action This is not okay. Where are your priorities America The insanity is doomed to repeat. Until we see change Death is at our feet. Stop saying it’s because we removed God - that’s not cool, If you truly believed in God you would know “we are his hands and feet” in school.
