Iβm enjoying myself a banana after the gym this morning. One of the employees asked if I liked the deep tissue massage and proceeded to tell me I could handle it because my back is so strong. What an absolute goober! I love it. They were super sweet. I feel very special going to the gym now. πͺπ₯° I feel very lucky to have such positive interactions with people. When I went to the comedy show the other night, my roommate and I walked down to a Greek foodcart and it was pretty late so there was quite a bit of homeless folk vibin and I had a dude compliment my tights and it was just such a genuine compliment and we both left smiling and wishing each other a fantastic night. I feel like it has a lot to do with how you carry yourself and I try my hardest to remain like an inviting and open person (except for when I donβt want toπ) and I think it works. Iβve gotten some interesting side quests while walking around Portland. I love having these stories. Feels good to be close to people. Not all the time, but sometimes. ππ Do you have any good moments with strangers that you think of often? Community is awesome and I wish people could feel closer.
