It was really refreshing taking the last week to vanlife around SoCal. We must all take some “me” time and get away from our normal day to day routine.
I am back to doing consultations and classes. I do have availability next week if you’d like to set yours up! 🤑

AUDIT TIP:
Organize the content you are making by date. Use your content as proof for your business expenses.
You want to be able to justify your expenses such as travel. In the slim chance you get audited by the IRS, be prepared to show your proof.
Set your self up to avoid a major headache and stay organized!

Have you been putting off your taxes?
Not going to be able to file by May 17th?
I do not suggest doing so, but you can file an extension. This does add some additional work for you, although it will give you until October to file.
Here’s how you can file an extension:

Make sure to track your car mileage monthly!
When using your vehicle and mileage as a tax deduction, you want to find a percentage of how often you use your car for business use VS personal use throughout the year.
Write down your odometer reading every month and the mileage usage for each business related drive. Using this info, you’ll be able to calculate your business usage of your vehicle.

UPDATE:
You have until May 17th to contribute funds into your 2020 Traditional IRA.🤑
If you are going to owe thousands of dollars in taxes this is a great way to lower that amount by up to $7000 and invest in your future.
Same goes for 2021 when you go to file next year.
Here is the video explaining how to do so😁

How can I lower the amount of taxes that I'll owe this year?🤑🤑🤑
The answer is investing into your future with a Traditional IRA.
In this video I explain what a Traditional IRA is and how to set one up using vanguard.com.
You can invest up to $7k annually into your Traditional IRA and defer that from your taxes for the current year. You will only be taxed on your earnings when you decide to withdraw the funds.
Keep your money in your pocket and let it grow!

In this video, I explain how to use the Annual Account Summary tool to view your deductions when it comes time to file your taxes.

FAQ:
Do I have to pay tax on the 20% that OF takes from me?
No, you are responsible to pay tax on the number that hits your account which is your NET INCOME.
Your NET INCOME - BUSINESS DEDUCTIONS = PROFIT.
You only pay tax on your PROFIT.

Did you know your WiFi and phone bill are tax deductions?
There is some math involved... we do use our phone and WiFi for personal use as well as business use, so you must figure out a % you use them for business vs. personal use. You then take that % of your bill and that is what you can write off.
If you use your phone 100% for business then you can write off 100% of that lines monthly bill.

Are you sinking thousands of dollars into rent each year?
As you grow your business, consider purchasing a house/property. It comes with many tax deductions (and you’ll stop paying someone else’s mortgage/property tax).

NEW ONLYFANS USERS -
I highly suggest investing your earnings back into your business.
Organize your monthly income and business expenses so you can gear how much you should spend to lower your taxable income.
Travel expenses are another great way to lower your taxable income (if you are traveling for business purposes, including making content).
If you need assistance doing so, let’s set up your consultation!

The more 💰 you spend on your business the less you have to pay the IRS.
You should be figuring your taxes out on a monthly basis and have a clear understanding of what you will owe.
Do you see you’re going to owe a hefty amount? Go buy that new camera, laptop, lighting equipment etc. (All tax deductible)
Don’t have health insurance? Get enrolled, your premiums are tax deductible.
Your 💰 is best kept within your business!
